Founder

Bev Bezuidenhout is the Founder of Optimising People. She is passionate about the development of people hence the company’s catch phrase: “Changing people and businesses for the better”.

Bev believes that everything can be improved, based on the philosophical dogma of Kaizen (a Japanese word meaning continuous improvement). For businesses this means improved performance and profitability.

Bev’s HR career, which moves seamlessly between strategic and operational HR, spans more than 20 years in both Australia and South Africa. She has worked in private, public and not-for-profit sectors as well as in numerous industries, including construction, health, energy, financial services, telecommunications and government. Her particular expertise is in developing HR strategy, crisis management and advisor relations, while her experience in areas such as HR, WHS, strategic planning and corporate services management provides her with a unique blend of business and HR capability.

She is a respected professional with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people on all levels across professional, social and cultural boundaries.  She has earned the reputation of trusted leader, coach and conveyer by closely working with business principles to understand their needs and collaboratively find solutions. Bev is a certified HR Professional (CAHRI) of the Australian Human Resources Institute, a Ruby Member of the HR Coach Network, an accredited Everything DiSC Facilitator and a certified Trainer and Assessor.
